As Players Ourselves...
We Take Pride in Our Ability To Improve the Touch of Fine Instruments Without Forfeiting Sound Quality
Like most luthiers, we love to play guitar, too, and have been doing so for the past fifty-five years, playing a variety of styles ranging from down-east country, to blues, rock, classical and jazz. We have found that studying the various guitar styles and techniques has given us a deeper understanding of what each genre demands in a set up. Studying cello for a year has also given us an understanding of what bass players require from their instruments. Yes, we take bass players seriously!
28 Years Experience of Working with the Best
The saga begins way back in 1986, in the fair city of Montreal, Quebec, where I worked for eleven years at Steve's Music Store, on St. Antoine Street, the largest music store in Eastern Canada, honing my skills as a luthier on every type of guitar, bass guitar, mandolin and banjo that the musicians of Montreal could throw at me. I have done work for...
- Steve's Music Store
- GuitarWorks
- Calgary Musical Repair and Sales
- The Acoustic Guitar Store
- The Calgary Folk Festival
- Brian Greenway
- Myles Goodwin
- Rick Emmet
- James Keelaghan
- Tim Williams
